Set in the heart of Moffat, Kirkview House is part of a renovated 18th century rural townhouse. With romantic connections to the poet Robert Burns, our handsome guest suite has lovely views over the picturesque church and village to the surrounding hills.

The guest suite is provisioned with a large bedroom, plus private bathroom, including shower and bath tub. Please note; there are three flights of stairs to the 3rd floor.  Unsuited to those with difficulty climbing stairs.

We Offer

Only 2-3 mins drive from M74. Ground floor storage for bicycles. Please note, we do not accept electric bikes nor the charging of associated batteries. Not suitable for children or pets. Our insurance only covers 2 adult guests. Unexpected guests, including children and pets, will not be accommodated ...... Sorry!

We like to think that our breakfast options of Granola, Alpen, porridge or other cereals followed by scrambled or poached eggs on toasted sourdough with marinated or smoked mackerel or smoked salmon, and Parma ham accompanied with saute mushrooms and tomatoes plus fair trade pressed fruit juice and fair trade coffee, toast and preserves will set you up for the day. With adequate notice we can provide vegan alternatives. If you suffer food intolerances we are happy for you to check packaging for ingredients.
